THE LOTTERY IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. SAVE UP YOUR GIL FOR WHEN IT REOPENS!
1-100 Lotto
The Breakdown:
Each “chip” costs 2000gil
Buy chips by sending money to Arthur Doyle (Tax Collector) and include which spots you want to buy!
A chip is an individual bet
Each person can place chips on up to 20 different numbers
Multiple people can bet on the same number, and each person can bet multiple times on the same number.
If the number is picked, the prize is split based who bet the most on the number getting the highest percent, and whoever else bet getting a lower percent.
Example: Wes places 2 chips on 99, while Senah places 1 chip on 99. If 99 is selected, then Wes gets 66% of the prize and Senah gets 33%
X spots (1,10,12,19,23,28,34,37,45,46,55,56,64,67,73,78,82,89,91,100) all belong to the house.
Feeling charitable? Buying chips on behalf of the house is recommended!
The Drawing: House’s Rules:
A random number will be selected 3 times. If the House wins at the first selection, the House gets the third place prize. A second random number will be selected. If it is House again, the second place drawing will go to House. A Third number will then be selected. If the third number is a House number, all prizes go to house.
Any spots not purchased by drawing day (Friday nights) will automatically become House X
Player’s Rules:
A random number will be selected 3 times. If the first number selected is a number you have a chip on, you win the first place prize (or a percentage of it). The second number will award a prize to the second place winner, and the third number will be to the third place winner.
Payouts:
1st place winner(s): 50% of pot
2nd place winner(s): 30% of pot
3rd place winner(s): 15% of pot
Last 5% goes into next week’s lotto
Because the House has a chance of winning, no % is promised to House. However, the House appreciates a tip of any amount from the winners.
